A group study visit to Germany provides an international comparative framework for an analysis of the American system and identifying potential implication for new directions in the field. The goal of the group study visit is to provide on site exposure and opportunities to document how the German workforce education system works as a frame of reference.

BREMEN, GERMANY
For the study abroad component, we visit Bremen, Germany. Bremen, located in Northern Germany, is an ideal location due to its easy access, historical development, and opportunity to learn about the German CWE system with the assistance of the University of Bremen’s Institute of Technology and Education.
Bremen is the oldest maritime city in Germany located in the northwestern region and the second most populous city in Northern Germany. Bremen is known for Beck’s beer, the Town Musicians of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, and maritime trade since 965. The city has a tradition of civic independence with a charming flair sprinkled with historic districts.
